DESCRIPTION

TBS6991SE is the successor of the TBS6991, which is a twin tuner digital satellite TV for watching or recording two different channels from two different frequencies simultaneously. You can use one tuner to watch TV channel while using another tuner to record/watch another channel from another transponder/ satellite at same time. TBS6991SE is not only available to access Free Air TV but also can watch satellite Pay TV since it's integrated with two CI slots. Inserting the correct CAM and subscription smartcard into the CI slot makes it possible to watch encrypted pay TV. This device is provided with both Windows BDA driver and Linux driver up to the latest kernel. The unique TBS MCE tool makes it possible to read CAM/Smartcard on Windows7 Media Center, thus your satellite subscription TV can be watched/ recorded on Windows7 Media Center. On Linux platform, you can also watch PayTV by using relative software on Linux. TBS6991SE is compatible with Windows7 Media Center, MediaPortal, DVBlink, DVBDream, DVBViewer, ProgDVB, Skynet, TSreader, XBMC, MythTV, VDR and many other popular software.
